Pep Perico is a tribute to the work of the founder, José L. Ferrer Ramonell.
The good weather conditions of 2001 and thanks to the good results of previous years in similar wines, Mantonegro grapes were selected from old vines grown on an estate whose main characteristic is the great presence of stone. Afterwards, fermentation took place in the concrete tanks built by the founder in 1931 and ageing in 300L American oak barrels. Since then, the bottles have been resting in the oldest cellar of the winery and in 2021 all the corks were manually changed to replace them for optimal consumption.
